Troop 727 is a multi-denominational faith based troop for boys aged 11 to 17. We are chartered to Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish (IHM) in Burlington, KY, and are part of the Trailblazer District of Dan Beard Council.
Troop 727 is a very active troop. We have a campout almost every month, or at least some sort of outing. Some months we also have day events where Scouts can have some fun doing an activity together. We highly encourage our patrols to organize their own events as well, outside of the regular scout meetings.
Our troop has a tradition of a Big Destination trip scheduled roughly about every other year. We have been places like Washington, D.C., South Dakota and the Grand Canyon. These trips are usually about a week in length and provide an awesome experience for our scouts.
Our troop also regularly attends the BSA High Adventure bases (Philmont, Florida Seabase, Northern Tier and Summit Bechtel) for those lifetime experiences. Smaller groups of scouts sign up, train and attend in these immersion scouting experiences also about every other year.
Our scheduled Troop meetings occur on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Please check our calendar for the schedule and location of each meeting. Maps and addresses for our normal meeting locations are below. While we normally do meet at IHM (our Charter Organization), we sometimes meet at the Boone County Sheriff’s Department.

We most often meet at IHM. Britt Hall can be found by turning right in front of the school and driving down the hill to the lower parking lot. Acree Hall is found by turning left in front of the school and driving to the separated parking lot. Acree Hall is the separate building.
From time to time we do meet at the Boone County Sheriff’s office off Conrad Lane. Enter the main entrance and go through the lobby to the double doors to the left of the entrance. We use the meeting room down the hallway on the left.
